We’re thrilled to welcome Alex to ANT as the newest member of our Systems Department, joining us as a Software Developer.

Alex joins the team after graduating from the University of Brighton with First-Class Honours in Computer Science for Games, bringing with him an excellent academic background, strong technical skills and a passion for solving complex challenges.

As ANT continues to develop and enhance innovative software solutions for our customers, Alex will play a key role in designing, developing and testing new features, helping us deliver high-quality systems that meet the evolving needs of organisations across a wide range of industries.

Outside of software development, Alex has an impressive record of leadership and teamwork. He has captained teams in football, rugby and American football, earning Defensive MVP honours on three occasions in American football. He is also a competitive golfer, demonstrating the focus, discipline and determination that translate well into software development.

Adding another unique dimension to his experience, Alex is a former semi-professional Overwatch player, where success depended on exceptional communication, tactical decision-making and maintaining composure under pressure. These skills – strategic thinking, collaboration and quick problem-solving—are just as valuable in software development as they are in competitive esports.

Alex’s combination of technical expertise, leadership experience and competitive mindset makes him a fantastic addition to the ANT team. We’re excited to have him on board and look forward to the innovation and fresh ideas he’ll bring as we continue to expand and enhance our software solutions.
