Violence / Abuse

Unfortunately, abuse has become an increasingly common issue in today’s working environment. It can occur in many forms and across all sectors, having a negative impact on employees’ wellbeing for short or extended periods. If not addressed, or if it is perceived as being ignored, abusive behaviour can lead to stress, anxiety, reduced morale, and discomfort at work.

Through regular conversations with our clients, we know that abuse is an emerging and persistent risk faced by organisations. Tackling this issue proactively is essential to protecting employees, maintaining a positive workplace culture, and demonstrating a clear commitment to staff safety and wellbeing.

Give your employees the TOOLS to log all abuse incidents quickly and effectively.

Every employee will have login access to the ABUSE application. The system provides a straightforward form for reporting incidents, either immediately or after reflection. Reports can be submitted confidentially if the reporter does not wish their manager or colleagues to be aware. Colleagues who witness incidents may also report them anonymously.

Investigate the Abuse Reported

A range of built‑in graphs is provided within the system, enabling organisations to clearly identify the volume and nature of abusive incidents being reported. These visual insights make it easy to understand not only how often abuse is occurring, but also the different types of abuse affecting employees.

As abusive behaviour can vary significantly in how it presents and who is involved, this level of insight helps organisations tailor their response and take appropriate action, whether the source is a customer, member of the public, colleague, or manager.

Users can simply select the required graph and drill down from high‑level trends to detailed individual records, supporting informed decision‑making and targeted interventions.

The system also integrates with Power BI via our API. Organisations already using Power BI can leverage this to create their own customised reports and dashboards, aligning abuse reporting data with wider business intelligence and reporting needs.
